Dr Dot Feast

Specialising in the Addiction and Dual Diagnosis

Dr. Dot Feast is a Psychiatrist with a special interest in Addictions and Dual Diagnosis.

She gained her medical degree and Psychiatric training at the University of Cape Town and is at present completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Addictions Care through the Psychiatric Department at UCT. She is a member of the South African Addictions Medicine Society.

She was previously employed at the HIV Mental Health Research Unit at Groote Schuur Hospital as a research coordinator. She was also actively involved in patient care in the Psychiatry Department, as well as at The Ivan Thoms Health4Men Clinic. She has been in private practice at Kenilworth Clinic since 2014.

Dr. Feast predominately uses a Motivational Enhancement approach – including CBT, Psychotherapy, and use of medication when needed. She collaborates extensively with other professionals, believing in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care and recovery.
