Dr Eloise Reid

Specialising in the Addiction, Depression and Neuropsychiatry, as well as Mental Health in people living with HIV / AIDS
Dr. Reid obtained her medical degree at the University of Pretoria and then trained in Psychiatry at the University of Cape Town. After completing her specialist training, she joined the Groote Schuur HIV Mental Health Group as an Outreach Psychiatrist. Here she helped set up a tertiary referral system at various ARV clinics throughout the Western Cape. During this time she also worked as a part-time lecturer at the University of Stellenbosch. Dr. Reid has been in private practice since 2009.
Her special interests include Addiction, Depression, and Neuropsychiatry (in particular Dementia and Geriatric psychiatry), as well as Mental Health in people living with HIV / AIDS.
